Politico is reporting that Michael Bloomberg and his various anti-gun groups have pledged to spend $25 million dollars to fight National Concealed Carry Reciprocity. Currently NJ2AS is supporting the House Bill HR38 and is working to make sure the Senate Companion bill benefits New Jersey Gun Owners as well.

Bloomberg and his groups are declaring war on National Concealed Carry Reciprocity:

Everytown for Gun Safety, founded and funded by the billionaire former New York City mayor, is hiring several new top staffers and turning much of its attention to state legislatures, while moving to a defensive posture in Washington as it tries to stop what’s known as “concealed carry reciprocity” from becoming law. That will include starting to score Congressional votes, like the NRA does, to guide spending decisions more directly.

They want to make sure that the few states that still ignore the Second Amendment, like New Jersey, can continue to do so.

The NJ2AS is fighting hard for HR38. We are proud to say that we worked with Rep. Tom MacArthur when he became the first, and so far the only, NJ Representative to cosponsor The National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act (HR38).

As we have stated and warned in the past, we are up against a mammoth billionaire, however, we have something money cannot buy: PASSION! Help support the fight by joining NJ2AS today or making a donation. Anyone who joins/renews their membership, or makes a donation of $20 or more, will automatically be entered in our April Giveaway for a chance to win a MODMAT-15 rifle from Modern Materiel.
